Prince Charming
You were Prince Charming and a monster all in one.
The masks blended, altering perception.
You loved, cherished, pampered and protected.
And you took, robbed, seduced and lied.
Portraying fearlessness, strength and confidence.
and yet you cried like a baby boy.
You became terror to my soul. Unpredictable.
You replaced me, sickened me, appalled me.
Took my heart, blended it with yours...
Leaving, you ripped the bond, the blending.
I bled and bled.
I found temporary sutures.
Tears, protected by layers and layers..
Rage, grief, disbelief and denial.
